Scent Detection Classes

Introduction to Scent Detection

  • Starts 6pm on Jan 10. Class dates are Jan 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb 7 & 21. No class on Feb 14.

Classes are one hour long and run once per week. $245+gst (this include a Scent Detection odour kit).

This class is set up for dogs who are brand new to scent detection and want to get those noses in action. This class will introduce your dog to the odours used by the Canadian Kennel Club and the Sporting Detection Dog Association. Not only will your dog learn to identify select odours but you will learn how to read your dog’s cues that they’ve found the odour! This class is a great option for dogs who struggle with confidence issues and reactivity as there is only one dog in the training building at a time. Dogs who are not actively working are comfortably benched in their owner’s vehicles between their turns.
