Our team is trained in safe handling and animal body language, ensuring your pet’s comfort throughout their appointment. Our grooming salon is also eco-friendly. We don’t use harmful chemicals, make a concious effort to conserve water and energy, and use softened water that’s gentle on your dog’s skin.

Instead of scheduling all grooming appointments in the morning, we space them throughout the day to minimize wait times and ensure your pet receives undivided, one-on-one attention with their groomer. Each grooming experience is as unique as your furry friend!

Factors that can impact price include dogs who are anxious or aggressive and need more time with the groomer for a positive and safe experience. Coat condition and mats can also play a big role in how long a groom can take and will impact the price of the groom.

Different dogs/coats have a variety of grooming requirements. Typically we recommend scheduling a grooming appointment every 4 to 6 weeks for dogs who require a haircut where the coat length is kept around 1 inch long. In general, you can extend the time between grooms for shorter haircuts if the coat is well maintained. At home grooming might be required for maintenance to prevent mats from forming.

Absolutely! Our team is passionate about helping anxious and nervous dogs have a positive grooming experience. Please communicate to our team when booking your appointment that your dog might need extra support and time because of anxiety.

Our groomers will always take their time to work with a nervous dog during an appointment. We will use praise, positive language, treats and gentle handling. Sometimes truly stressed dogs need multiple short appointments to finish a groom and we will communicate with our clients directly what we would recommend for their dog.

We recommend that anal gland expression be done by a Veterinarian.

To minimize the stress level of dogs during the groom they are usually best suited to have their owner leave them with us. However there are some circumstances where an owners presence can be helpful to the dog.
