Designed for social, active dogs.
A Social, High-Energy Play Experience
At High Tails, we know that an active, engaged dog is a happy dog.
Our structured dog daycare program, designed by professionals—including a certified dog trainer—offers the perfect mix of play, socialization, mental stimulation, and rest.
Dogs in our daycare program enjoy a high-energy, social experience, playing in carefully selected small groups based on breed, size, and temperament. Supervised by at least two staff members at all times, our playgroups ensure safe, positive interactions. On warm days, pups can cool off with pool time for some splashy fun!
Between play sessions, your dog will recharge in their own private suite with an attached 30-foot outdoor run, providing the perfect balance of activity and relaxation.
Daycare is ideal for dogs who love making friends, thrive in group play, and enjoy an interactive, structured day. Whether they love romping with buddies, or just soaking up the fun, we create an experience tailored to their unique personality.
Let’s make your dog’s day fun, active, and full of tail wags!

COMMON FAQ’S
You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers.
-
Our daycare program is based on a schedule of both rest and playtime. When a dog arrives for their day of daycare, they are taken to their private suite that includes a 30-foot-long outdoor run that they can access all day. Dogs will have be taken out for customized playtimes either with dogs best suited to them or one on one with an animal care attendant for special attention and play. After playtime they return to their private suite for a rest time, and we continue that schedule throughout the day.
-
Dogs don’t need anything with them for their daycare visit as we provide leashes, toys, bedding and everything they need to be comfortable. If a lunch is brought, there will be a small administrative fee to help cover the cost of rearranging your dog's carefully planned day. Dogs can not safely play with food in their belly so an appropriate amount of time needs to be alloted for rest after they eat.
-
Dog play groups are chosen very carefully by our experienced staff members who know each dog well. We like to match dog’s personalities, sizes and preferences to their groups.
-
Dogs who are fearful benefit from low stress handling which our staff are trained on. We spend time settling them into their suite and ensure that they get a playtime pretty early in their stay so they get a chance to sniff and explore. If a dog is nervous or anxious we may choose to do one on one with a handler until their confidence has increased before introducing a doggy friend. When choosing a canine friend for a nervous dog we select our most confident and neutral dogs to start them with. If a dog signals that they are uncomfortable in a situation then we make changes to their friends, suite or handling to help them feel better.
-
Dogs might show signs of aggression for several reasons. Our team is skilled and knows to check for medical concerns, stress and anxiety before jumping to any conclusion. We will make changes to their play group or suite as well as change our handling protocols to keep everyone safe. We can accommodate dogs of all temperaments at High Tails and we take pride in being honest with our canine families so they know how their dog is feeling during their stay.
-
We accept intact dogs for play groups with some protocols in place to keep everyone safe. Intact females will play with neutered males or other female dogs only. Dogs in heat will not participate in group play with any other dogs. Intact males are typically paired with a spayed female dog(s) to ensure a harmonious play group for them as well.
