Obedience class number 2 tonight!
Copper’s training today was saved for class time because we knew he would need all his little puppy brain cells for this one! He did great with “sit” and “down”. Then we started teaching him “auto check-in” and “loose-leash walking”. His puppy brain, combined with his beagle nose and being in the great outdoors with sticks, leaves and great new smells created some extra obstacles for Copper not being able to focus very well. It was definitely entertaining! He’s so smart that we know he’ll catch on fast – just need to remove some of the extra distractions – namely leaves and sticks!
