Copper is so smart! Two solid behaviours and two more on the way!
It’s only day 6 and Copper continues to amaze us with how fast he is learning things. He’s got wild puppy energy, but when he focuses he soaks up training like a sponge!
Today, two behaviours reached the “solid” status. The first one is not “door-crashing”. Today Copper showed us that he understands he has to be patient and polite at all doors – not just the one at his pen. See the cute pics below.
The second behaviour is his first trick which we actually discovered by accident! He LOVES the slide! I put him on it just once and that was it – he was addicted! He tries to climb up himself (but needs help so he doesn’t slip off). Once at the the top, he turns around and goes down. Hilarious! He wants to do it over and over again. In the video below, we worked in “sit” as well which is pretty close to being solid.
