The last obedience class was lots of fun!

Tonight was Copper’s last obedience class and we had so much fun! We played games and Copper got to string together 12 behaviors in the doggie telephone game. He showed off the ones he was good at and learned some new ones too! The one he caught on to the fastest was “stand”. Groomers and veterinarians will appreciate this behavior but otherwise it’s not overly exciting. It does however, gives Copper another thing to keep him thinking and on the tips of his little puppy toes! We introduced him to “show your belly” but he just kept on going and rolled right on over!
Play time was funny as always! And apples were enjoyed by all! The little black dog “Oscar” in the video was hilarious – on a wild run riot while Copper tried to keep up.
Oh yes – and must not forget Copper graciously allowing his piggy friend Jillian to pick a toy from the toy box. So cute!
Copper’s take-home package is nicely taking shape. We’re having a lot of fun putting it together! Toys, treats and products to support his overall health and wellness. We want it to be a surprise so we’ll take pics after Copper goes home Friday night…
