CWAGS Obedience Skills

Nov 3, 17, 24, Dec 1, 8, and 15th – No Class Nov 10th – Class Time 4:30pm

Classes are one hour long and run once per week. $225+gst

CWAGS is a great organization that focuses on having fun with your dog. Obedience is regularly viewed as serious and strict. Though CWAGS still celebrates the precise exercises that make up formal obedience it also celebrates connection and communication from the team – allowing you to talk to your dog throughout the routine.


During these 6 weeks we will work with each team at the level they are currently at. Handlers will be able to work through skills from level 1 – 3 building on their skills and understanding of each exercise in a classroom full of distractions.


Formal Obedience training can really help build clarity and generalization for real world skills with your dog, such as polite greetings, moving with you through distractions and happy eager focus while out and about.

Our CWAGS Obedience Classes are taught by Janilee Benell CPDT-KSA, CTDI

Janilee Benell, CPDT-KSA, CBATI-KSA, CTDI started out with a passion for helping reactive and fearful dogs reach their fullest potential. In 2016, she competed for the first time with one of her dogs in WCRL Rally obedience. Since then, she has gone on to title four very different dogs in multiple venues and sports. One of her favorite things is watching a team learn and grow together through formal obedience type skills.
