Level 1 Agility
- Starts 5:30pm on Nov 5. Class dates are Nov 5, 12, 19, 26, Dec 10 and 17. No class on Dec 3. $225+gst for 6 week program

Get started on the right paw with Introduction to Agility. Whether you are playing just for fun or want to head to Nationals with your canine teammate, this class is the perfect place to start learning the game. This class introduces you to the skills you need to have fun and stay safe including tunnels, jumps, wobble boards, intro to 2 on 2 off, body awareness, handling and more! You will be introduced to using games and play to build focus in this class.
Pre-requisites: None
Good for puppies 12 weeks or older
Level 2 Agility

Level 2 agility will introduce your dog to a low dog walk and A-Frame while continuing to build on teeter work. You will also start putting together small sequences (5-10 obstacles), working on front crosses, blind crosses and tight turns.
Pre-requisite: Agility Level 1 OR instructor approved – Dogs must be 10 months or older
Level 3 Agility
- Starts 11:30am on Nov 2. Class dates are Nov 2, 16, 23 and Dec 14. No classes on Nov 9, 30 or Dec 7. $150+gst for 4 week program
- Starts 6:45pm on Nov 6. Class dates are Nov 6, 13, 20, 27, Dec 11 and 18. No class on Dec 4. $225+gst for 6 week program
Classes are 1 hour per week.
Level 3 agility will further your handling skills by using all pieces of equipment to build sequences of 10-12 obstacles. You will continue proofing your 2 on 2 off skills, teeter and introduce some new handling techniques including, rear crosses and backsides. You will also start weave pole training in this class.
Pre-requisite: Agility Level 2 OR instructor approved – Dogs must be 12 months or older
Level 4 Agility
- Starts 12:45pm on Nov 2. Class dates are Nov 2, 16, 23 and Dec 14. No classes on Nov 9, 30 or Dec 7. $150+gst for 4 week program
- Starts 8pm on Nov 6. Class dates are Nov 6, 13, 20, 27, Dec 11 and 18. No class on Dec 4. $225+gst for 6 week program
Classes are 1 hour per week.
In this class you will be introduced to more advanced handling techniques, building on commitment and distance with all pieces of equipment. You will continue weave pole training and be introduced to threadles in this class.
Pre-requisites: Agility Level 3 OR instructor approved – Dogs must be 12 months or older & must be proficient and comfortable with all pieces of contact equipment (a-frame, dog walk and teeter)

Classes are 1 hour per week. Each class is 4 weeks. $150+gst
Learn how to navigate two of the most challenging pieces of agility. This class focuses on teeter safety, flow and movement as well as teaching your dog weave pole entry, commitment and speed.
Pre-requisite: Agility Level 1 OR instructor approved – Dogs must be 12 months or older

Have fun with your dog, communicate with your dog and connect with your dog is Kara’s training philosophy! Enjoy and learn from every training moment, improve in what the team is doing and push to get to the next level!
Kara has a true love for all dogs and dog sports. She and her dogs perform with the Presidents Choice Superdogs, she is a certified trick dog instructor through Do More With Your Dog (CTDI), is a supporting member of IAABC (International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants), and is a certified Head Judge and Trainer for Disc with UpDog. She trains and has competed in Agility (AAC), Nosework, Dock Diving and Disc Dog, with her true passion being Freestyle Disc. Kara trained under Marion Paulson in disc dog and has attended many seminars including PVYBE with Ron Watson and Apryl Lea, Freestyle Disc with Andrea Rigler, Freestyle Disc and Dog Dance with Lucka Plevova, Freestyle Disc with Shaun Hirai, and many more! She continues to attend seminars whenever possible. Kara has travelled across Western Canada and through the USA where she has competed and placed in Skyhoundz, AWI, UFO and UpDog.
Kara shares her home with her husband Shawn Bellingham who is an UpDog Judge and their three dogs Piper, Electric and Treble who go everywhere with them! She is an active front member of the Calgary Disc Dog Club, they host competitions, fun matches and learning sessions where she has helped train many new disc teams. Disc in Alberta is a very up and coming sport, her goal is to keep watching this sport grow here!
