Copper meets Hamlet, the baby piggy today! Plus some great new skills under his little puppy belt…
Sitting beside the baby piggy Hamlet, Copper looks like a giant! We have definitely noticed that Copper is growing. He’s a giant compared to Lucy too! He really liked Hamlet, but could figure out how to get him to play. Eventually he was happy with just co-existing and working with Brenda in his presence.
Copper played with Elvis today too. Elvis is a remarkable cat that loves dogs!
And toys, toys, toys! Copper went into the toy box and chose what he wanted to play with for his training session break. Super-cute! Visitors to High Tails will also notice the rapid accumulation of more and more toys in Copper’s pen. It is a mystery to me where they’re all coming from! Team High Tails is joining forces to populate Copper’s pen with so many toys it looks like a tornado went through a child’s bedroom!
And finally, I caught on video Brenda introducing a brand new behviour to Copper. He caught on like he’s always known how to do it! It’s called “get in”. A very powerful command to help with loose leash walking and general obedience. The “get in” command is not to be confused with what some of us have been saying to Copper when he sees his fav hole in the yard – hahaha!
