The bitter weather today inspired us to move everything indoors.

Doing school and play indoors today didn’t have any effect on Copper, but man it made us happy! Ugh – just don’t think us humans adjust as quickly as animals do to a weather change.
Copper discovered a friend who plays just like he does. And did they ever have a blast! Check out the video! You would think they would have tired each other out but young pups have boundless amounts of energy. Keeping them busy mentally and physically can help keep them out of the destructive phase. Understanding what puppies need for their optimal growth and development helps every owner get through that super cute but also demanding puppy phase. The goal is to avoid any unnecessary demands on the pocket book for either vet bills or to replace things that puppies aren’t supposed to destroy (shoes, walls and the like!).
Obedience class was in the garage tonight. Copper demonstrated to the class how quick he can learn. With proper instruction and decisive body language from his handler he makes drastic improvements every time he tries something new, IF YOU CAN KEEP HIS ATTENTION, lol! Remembering that developmentally Copper is young to be learning as much and as complicated of skills as he is. HENCE WHY HE IS OUR LITTLE PUPPY GENIUS! Go Copper Go! We’re so proud…
