Indoor dog training centreIntro to K9 Nose Work


1.5 hours, Starts Tuesday Sept 16, 12:30-2pm OR Starts Sunday September 14, 12:45pm-2:15pm

K9 Nose Work is the fastest growing dog sport in North America! This six week set of classes will introduce you and your dog to the fun of recreational scent detection. This amazing sport is well suited for all dogs – puppies to seniors, physically fit to those with impaired vision, hearing and/or mobility. Reactive and environmentally overstimulated dogs welcome as only one dog is working at a time. AND it’s the fastest way to tire out your dog known to the industry! Teach your dog the basic skills for container, interior, exterior and vehicle searches (exteriors are weather dependent).

Intro to Odor – A continuation of Nose Work


1.5hrs, Starts Tuesday September 16, 6:45-8:15pm or Sunday Sept 14 2:30-3:30pm

Teach your dog the basic skills for container, interior, exterior and vehicle searches (exteriors are weather dependent) using odor instead of food. Must have Intro to Nose Work using food completed before taking this class.

Tricks and Games


1 hour, Starts Tuesday September 16, 5:30-6:30pm

Keep your dog physically and mentally exercised while refining your handling skills. All ages and abilities!

Agility Foundations


1 hour, Starts Wednesday September 17, 1:00-2:00pm

Get started on the right paw with Agility Foundations! Whether you are playing just for fun or want to head to Nationals with your canine teammate, this class is the perfect place to start learning the game. This class will introduce you and your dog to the skills you need to have fun and be safe in this exciting sport. Tunnels, jumps, wobble boards, body awareness, handling and more!

$189/6weeks

Agility Level 2


1 hour, Starts Tuesday September 16, 3:30-4:30pm or Wednesday September 17, 3:30-4:30pm

Keep on going! Start doing sequences and learning how to handle your dog on the different pieces of equipment. Weaves are also introduced in this class using 2x2’s. A brilliant way to learn the weave poles! Need to have taken a level one agility course. Location/trainer doesn’t matter.

Agility Contacts and Weaves


1 hour, Wednesday September 17, 5:30-6:30pm

Want faster contacts and weaves? Want more accurate contacts and weaves? With understanding comes speed and this class will work on the skills for fast, accurate, reliable contacts and weaves. We use 2x2’s! A brilliant method for mastering weaves in record time.

Agility Handling and Crosses


1 hour, Starts Wednesday September 17, 8-9pm

Whether your currently competing or getting ready to this class will improve your footwork and speed! A must do class for serious agility folks.

Advanced Agility Skills


1 hour, Starts Tuesday September 16, 2:15-3:15pm or Wednesday September 17, 2:15-3:15pm or Wednesday September 17, 6:45-7:45pm

Have you and your dog fallen in love with agility and want to learn more? Challenge your teamwork and training and learn new skills, then put them into practice in a course. Game strategies for snooker and gamblers, skill development for tricky sequences, building handler and obstacle focus – there’s something for everybody in this class!

Puppy Head Start


45 min -1 hour Starts Sunday September 14, Sundays at 10-11am

It's always a great time to start puppy class! Our puppy class allow for flexibility, because we know how busy your life can be. You can start right away, because our classes are ongoing. Each week features a different topic that's key to your puppy developing into a fantastic family member. We know life gets busy so you can attend any six classes in eight weeks.

Topics


Socialization with people and dogs, bite inhibition, house training, problem prevention, problem solving (housetraining, biting, jumping, chewing, crate training) and the foundation skills for coming when called, loose leash walking, focus, take it and leave it, sit, down etc. Handling and grooming, confidence building, canine communication and more, all to get your and your puppy off to a great start! Up to 20 weeks of age.

Lifestyle Obedience



Starts Sunday September 14, 11:15am-12:15pm

This is a manners class appropriate for your puppy or adult dog. Puppies must be min. 20 weeks of age. While strengthening your relationship with your dog, refine the basics! Loose leash walking, recall, impulse control and so much more! A fun class that produces results you will be thrilled with.
